TMC was first established in 1971, as a local business selling affordable used cars in Tottington, Greater Manchester. Even back then, we were known for our customer care and attention to detail, maintaining a high standard of quality for anyone who walked through our doors.
In 2016, we ventured into the world of leisure, merging with Academy Group and Freedhome Motorhome Hire. At this time, we also moved to our new purpose-built forecourt and service centre in Radcliffe, where we are still based today.
This growth allowed us to provide the complete leisure package. Today, we offer new and used leisure vehicle sales, luxury motorhome hire, as well as servicing from our state-of-the-art, Castrol certified workshop.
Over all this time, we’ve kept the Tottington name to always remind us of our humble beginnings. Despite all our growth, we still strive for the personal, family feel we’ve always had. Customer care is still our number one priority, and it’s thanks to repeat business and loyalty that we’ve been able to grow so much.

We offer a wide range of new and used motorhomes and campervans for sale from our purpose-built forecourt, featuring all kinds of layouts and berth options. We specialise in providing the newest models from Auto-Trail, Roller Team and Bespoke Leisure. We are official partners for all three of these manufacturers, stocking their newest models as soon as they become available.
Our sales team, featuring Gavin and Jason, are both experienced and friendly. They can give you all the details on our models and help you pick your favourite. We’re committed to making the sales process as easy as possible for you; our team will help you each step of the way, whether you’re purchasing outright, through finance, or via part exchange.
We also offer try before you buy, which can be a great option to get a feel for your motorhome and know if it’s right for you.
Our expert technicians and valeting team ensure our stock stays in perfect condition, and we’re happy to accommodate appointment viewing for whichever models you’d like to see. When you collect your motorhome after purchasing, you can also trust that it’ll be spotless and fully serviced.

TMC have a state-of-the-art workshop on site, with expert technicians that can care for both cars and motorhomes.
The aftersales department can help you during and after your motorhome purchase.
They’ll assist you with warranty claims, and any other problems or queries with your motorhome. They also make sure any optional extras are fitted to your motorhome, whether it’s awnings, TVs, or a range of other features you may need.
We also provide servicing, MOT and habitation checks for all makes and models of cars and motorhomes. Our workshop is Castrol Certified, a symbol of the high standards of servicing we provide. This also means we always use top quality Castrol oils.
The servicing and aftersales departments are run by Greg, Jay and Gary. Between them, there’s a wealth of experience and motorhome knowledge. And they’ll be happy to help you with anything you need.

Tottington Motor Company has an award-winning luxury motorhome hire department, with a wide range of layouts to choose from, ranging from 2-5 berth. TMC hire is a great choice if you’re looking to holiday in the UK and Europe, with so many homelike features and amenities included in your booking. We also provide a detailed tutorial process on handover, designed so that even those with no motorhome experience can still have a great holiday.
The hire department originally began as Freedhome Luxury Motorhome Hire, before merging with Tottington Motor Company in 2016. Now that we provide sales, hire and servicing all under the same roof, we’re able to own all our hire motorhomes and keep them maintained to the highest standards.
Our hire fleet is managed by Julie, a longstanding employee of TMC. She’ll give you all the details and advice you need on our motorhomes, and help you to secure your booking.
