Both cars and motorhomes in the UK must have their MOT check once a year, to ensure they are working properly. For servicing, we recommend booking at different times based on your vehicle and the type of service you need:
Interim service – every 6 months or 6,000 miles driven
Full service – every 12 months or 12,000 miles driven
Major service – every 24 months or 24,000 miles driven
A habitation check is just as important as a regular service, as issues such as gas leaks, ventilation and fire risks are checked by motorhome experts. This means it ensures the safety of everyone on board, and avoids potential future damage that could become costly.

The NCC approved workshop scheme is a joint enterprise between the National Caravan Council (NCC), the Caravan and Motorhome Club, and the Camping and Caravanning Club.
